Sexy shrimp are a staple favourite of nano tank owners due to their small size and low demand on the aquarium. Their common name is a result of the dancing butt shaking movement of their abdomen which occurs the majority of the time, much to the entertainment of any onlookers.
Sexy shrimp are very peaceful and can be kept with any other shrimp species as well as in groups with members of their own species, as is natural and best for them. When kept in a group they will generally congregate together to create an awesome visual display. In the wild these marine shrimp are usually found in a commensal relationship with anemones however in the home aquarium it is more common to find them congregated around a coral or rocky outcrop.
Due to variations in species your item may not be identical to that featured in the image, we do however ensure the species is correct and that the markings and colors are very similar.
