Frogspawn corals have similar care requirements to other Euphyllia corals like hammers, considered relatively easy LPS corals and usually the starting point for reefers moving into keeping LPS corals. The coral grows in a branching fashion with heads sometimes splitting to become two or sometimes growing from the side of the branches. The long tentacles and large polyps also provide lots of lovely movement in the aquarium.
Frogspawn corals do not require intense lighting so tend to do best in the bottom half of the tank, it is however usually possible to acclimate them a little higher if desired. They prefer a moderate and variable flow that isn't direct.
Frogspawns can be kept close to other Frogspawns without them stinging each other, with this in mind reefers often create gardens, an area dedicated to the various different colours this species is available in.
